Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actress. Her fame grew in the 1970s and into the early 80s with her constant appearances on a range of TV shows in which she was depicted as a glamorous actress. Fairchild started her career on her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 until 1977. Fairchild made her debut in 1973 as Jennifer Pace in CBS's Daytime soap opera Search For Tomorrow. She played Jenna Wade for the first time in 1978. The following year, she landed the leading role on the NBC show Flamingo Road. (For this show, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award nominated Best Actress in a Television Series drama). The actress co-starred with ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls during 1984. In addition, she performed the role of Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild is also a performer on stage, having appeared in television comedies like Murphy Brown, for which she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star on a Comedy Series.
