Amy Smart is an American former model and actress. Amy Smart was born and raised in California, USA. Amy Smart began her modeling career in Italy. Her acting career started in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. Following a long and difficult battle her way to a role, she got a chance as "Starship Troopers" her role in Starship Troopers. It was difficult for her to transition from modelling to acting as the models werent usually thought of as actors and tended to be given smaller and inconsequential parts. Amy persevered, and she eventually landed larger roles in the films Varsity Blues and The 70s. Then she stepped into main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy got her first recognition for her efforts over the past decade. Amy continued to make significant films like the Crank series opposite Jason Statham and the series Shameless in which she portrayed the well-loved character of recurring.
