Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. Her modelling career began in Italy, where she was raised and was born in California. Her acting career began in 1996 when she starred in the TV film Her Costly Affair. From there to starring as a supporting character in the feature film Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. This was not easy for Amy because she had change from modeling to performing. Models aren't thought of as great actors so they tend to get smaller, insignificant roles. Amy had a determination to be successful and eventually she was offered bigger parts beginning at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. In the course of a couple of years, Amy took the leap into bigger roles. Amy was in the 2005 love story Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years after her film called Just Friends came out. Then she went on to work in several of the most famous film productions, such as the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she played a recognizable character.
