Summer Glau

 Her first TV role was in a guest spot as ballerina in a 2002 episode of the popular television show Angel. In the episode, she caught the eye of director Joss Whedon who later cast her in his critically acclaimed but short-lived TV series Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised in the sequel feature film to the show Serenity. Glau was previously auditioned for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger, Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. But she was unable to beat Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. She played Shelly her high school senior in Sleepover. She also appeared on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " Season 2 of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the lover of Jeremy Erhart). Glau was Tess Doerner (a paranoid, psychotic returning character) in season two of The 4400. From season three, she was an ongoing character. She also starred in the film of the same name, a horror comedy called Mammoth. Glau was also cast in ABC Family Television's movie The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The series first aired on January 13 in 2008. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" included several scenes where Glau acting as Cameron was seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young, Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau also guest starred in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, a CBS comedy series that is a situation comedy.
