Lowell started her acting career when appeared in Dangerously Close. She then was a part-time actress as Club Paradise's Assistant Attorney Jamie Ross. She also had roles co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as well as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She also appeared on Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the identical role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. And again in 2022 on the original series. Prior to being cast in the role, she was frustrated in her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking programme. [4] In the late 2000s she stopped acting. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice , while also reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. In 2018, she returned on television, and she appeared on Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell has been married three times. Her first husband was fashion photographer John Stember, to whom she was married from 1984 until 1988. [9][10] From 1989 to 1995, she was married to actor Griffin Dunne. She has one daughter named Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell got married to actor Richard Gere in November 2002,[11after the birth of their child Homer James Jigme Gere, who was born in February 2000. Two years later, in September, the two separated after eleven years of marriage. The couple was involved for three years in highly contested divorce proceedings before the New York Supreme Court.
